James Smith (1775-1839) and Horace Smith (1779-1846), authors of the Rejected Addresses: Or, the New Theatrum Poetarum. Published in 1812, it was a book or parodies and is generally considered one of the most successful humorous books of the early nineteenth century, and "brought the craft of parody to maturity".
