A plate illustrating lunettes from the 'Loggia di Psyche' by Raphael. On the left Psyche presents a case of water from the River Styx to Venus, who throws up her hands; at the center are two putti and an harpy; to the right is Jupiter kissing Cupid. Plate 3 from 'Psyches et Amoris nuptiae fabula a Raphaele Sanctio Urbinate Romae in Farnesianis hortis', a series of engravings illustrating Raphael's 'Loggia di Psyche' at the Villa Farnesina, Rome. The plates were drawn and engraved by Nicolas Dorigny (1658-1746), described by art historian Giovanni Pietro Bellori (1613-1696) and published by Domenico de Rossi (1647-1729).
