Abbotsbury, from the East.
Coloured lithograph 350 x 255mm image. Tear in top margin.
Abbotsbury is a village on the south coast of England ten miles to the north west of Portland Bill. Visible archaeology testifies to its occupation over the last 6,000 years: Chesil Beach and the Fleet – the largest formation of its kind in Europe - and possibly the world - and part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
