Etching, platemark 125 x 100mm (5 x 4"). Trimmed on platemark top and bottom; good impression on laid paper; glued to old backing sheet with slight glue staining.
Etching by Thomas Worlidge (1700-66) based on part of a Rembrandt etching showing the artist and his wife Saskia (White + Boon 19). Worlidge, known as 'the English Rembrandt', was a pupil of Alessandro Maria Grimaldi, whose daughter Arabella he married.
