Supposed self-portrait by Rembrandt, as copied by Thomas Worlidge Senior (1700 - 1766), 'the English Rembrandt' and a pupil of Alessandro Maria Grimaldi, whose daughter Arabella he married. Posthumous impression after Worlidge's widow Mary issued new impressions in 1767 with the number '72' added top right to correspond with the catalogue of his prints she produced. From the collection of colonel and MP C. Kemeys-Tynte of Halswell Park, Bridgwater (1779-1860).
