Plate 14 from 'Le Musée des Rieurs'. A duck shooting scene in which a young couple have been caught behind a tree, trying to hide from prying eyes. A group of three hunters to the right have successfully shot two ducks, seen falling from the sky in the top left corner, beneath which are the couple, trying to keep out of sight. In the centre, a fatherly figure stands smoking a pipe, facing left, with a large rifle under his arm. In front of him, his dog has noticed the man and woman. Goupil's blind stamp, bottom centre. Title in French, English and German below. Published in London and Paris.
