Plate 40 from 'Le Musée des Rieurs'. A rustic exterior scene on a farm. A scruffy character sits in some discomfort on a barrel, as he has his hair cut by another man, who looks toward the viewer, smirking. A pig and duck can be seen on the gound surrounding the figures, whilst another pig appears from a grape-vine covered barn in the background. Title in French, English and German below. Published in Paris, London and New York.
