Plate 58 from 'Le Musée des Rieurs'. An outdoor scene in Paris depicting a carriage drawn by two horses. The driver, looking toward the viewer, smiles whilst smoking a pipe. The carriage, named 'Desiree', has covered windows, from behind which a hand, wearing a wedding ring, can be seen. Goupil's blind stamp, bottom centre. Title in French, English and German below. Published in Paris, Berlin, London and New York.
