Plate 31 from Goya's famous series of eighty prints, 'Los Caprichos'. A young prostitute is addressed by the madam, ironically depicted as a 'false devotee', while another woman combs her hair. The preparatory drawing for the print is in the Prado, and the copper plate is in the Calcografía Nacional (also in Madrid).
