Action off the island of Guadeloupe during the Seven Years' War in which the British ship Buckingham gave chase to a French fleet. From of a series of prints made from paintings by marine painter Francis Swain (c.1719-82) recording celebrated naval battles which were probably reduced copies of other engravings issued by the same publisher.
