Three putti garlanding a monument on which sits a vase of flowers, with an easel and brushes in front. Frontispiece to John Edwards' extremely rare work "A Collection of Flowers Drawn after Nature and disposed in an ornamental and picturesque manner", which was published complete in 1801 and described by Dunthorne as 'a superb and extremely rare work by a great artist, whose craftmanship is equal to the best of the 18th Century'.
