Hand-coloured etching, later impression. 246 x 355mm (9¾ x 14"). Cut platemark.
King George IV drives a cab with Wellington beside him, the latter's profile projecting from the hood. The high-stepping white mare has the head and bust of Lady Conyngham, who has a small crown and many ostrich feathers in her dark curls. On her raised foreleg is a Garter ribbon inscribed 'Honi . . . Pe[nse]'. The King (barely recognizable), looks towards Wellington's grim profile. Behind the cab stands a groom, Peel, wearing cockaded top-hat and top-boots.
