It was first published in Dapper's 'Beschrijvinge der Afrikaanse Gewesten', but this example comes from the English edition, published by John Ogilby as 'Africa: being, An Accurate Description of the Regions of Egypt, Barbary, Lybia, and Billedulgerid, the Land of Negroes, Guinee, Aethiopia, and the Abysinnes, with All the Adjacente Islands', with the Dutch title and 11-point key duplicated into English.
