The White-Handed Gibbon, known also as the Lar gibbon. There are five sub-species found in Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand. Friedrich Wilhelm Kuhnert (1865-1926), the German painter, author and illustrator who specialised in animal images.
