There is a small bowl on a ledge in between the children, and to the left, a vase with white flowers sitting beneath a drape. Published by Philip Dawe (1750 - 1791), painter and mezzotinter of portraits and satires. Dawe was the son of a city merchant and a pupil and relation by marriage of Henry Morland, after whom he often worked.
