American interest- allegorical scene with three female figures, seated on the left is America, standing center, on clouds, is Peace holding an olive branch in her right hand raised toward an airy "Temple of Commerce" and, in her left hand, the right wrist of Britannia who stands on the right with shield and spear. This print was published in the year that the American War of Independence began.
