A fine aquatint engraving of various sailing boats, passing by The Needles, a row of three distinctive stacks of chalk that rise out of the sea off the Isle of Wight, close to Alum Bay. The Needles lighthouse, built in 1859, stands at the end of the formation. Edition strictly limited to 150 signed artist proofs only (no other state).
