Samuel Reddish (1735-1785), actor and theatre manager, playing the role of Posthumus in Shakespeare's 'Cymbeline'. In a military encampment, stepping forward to the left, gesturing outwards rebelliously, a fur-lined cloak hung over his outstretched right arm, manacles on his ankle and wrist and soldiers standing guard behind him. After Robert Edge Pine (1730-1788).
