The caves at what is now Aggtelek National Park in Northern Hungary include largest stalactite cave in Europe, the Baradla Cave. It is 26 km long, of which 8 km is in neighbouring Slovakia. From 'Sketches on the Danube, in Hungary and Transylvania' (26 plates), by George Edwards Hering (1805-1879).
