The British Gloster Gauntlet, the biplane fighter of the RAF designed and built by Gloster Aircraft in the 1930s. It was the last RAF fighter to have an open cockpit and the penultimate biplane fighter in service. By Geoffrey Watson (d.1937), known for his images of plans and aircraft.
