Eight scenes of the ineptitude of 'Fencibles', regiments raised from volunteers used to release regular troops from unimportant roles like garrison duty, an early 'Home Guard'. This caricature relates to their use during the French Revolutionary Wars. After George Moutard Woodward (c.1760 - 1809).
