Augustus (63BC - AD14), born Gaius Octavius Thurinus, was considered the first emperor of the Roman Empire from 27BC until his death. The portraits around his bust are of his daughter Julia Augusti filia, Marcus Antonius, Cicero and Time. This print may have been published in Sandrart's L'Academia Todesca della Architectura, Sculptura & Pittura (1675).
