The Battle of Alexandria, in which the British army under General Ralph Abercromby fought the French on the way to lay siege to the city of Alexandria. It shows Abercromby in discomfort from the spent bullet that hit him, causing his death a week later. The finshed print was published in 1804, with a dedication to the Abercromby's memory and a remarque of the trophies of war. From 'de Loutherbourg's Campaigns in Egypt and Italy'.
