A view across the River Thames towards the imposing Windsor Castle; waterfront buildings, barges on the river and two fisherman emptying their net on the near bank in foreground. After William Havell (1782 - 1857) for the second edition of his impressive folio of 12 plates 'A series of Picturesque Views of the River Thames' (first published 1811).
