European and Chinese shipping in the Bocca Tigris (Bogue, Humen), a narrow strait in the Pearl River Delta, Guangdong, China, where the Pearl River discharges into the South China Sea. The strait is formed by the islands of Chuenpee and Anunghoy on the eastern side and Tycocktow on the western side. From James Wathen's 'Journal of a voyage, in 1811 and 1812, to Madras and China, returning by the Cape of Good Hope and St. Helena' 1814.
