Dr Mark Ridley (1560-1624) was an English physician. He served as physician to the English merchants in Russia, to the Tsar of Russia; during which he complied a Russian-English, English-Russian Dicitionary. As a mathematician, he also wrote on magnetism. Frontis to "Treatise of Magneticall Bodies, 1613".
