View of a tudor palace with the tower tot he left, a cupola in the centre, battlemented walls and tall, narrow chimneys, surrounded by trees and bushes with a river zigzagging towards it. [Unifinished patches:] a couple speaking to a gardener, who stands holding his hat and spade, baskets beside him, with horses behind.
