A view of London at winter time, ice seen on the Thames. Cleaopatra's Needle was transported from Alexandria in 1877 and erected in London in August, 1878. Seen the other side of the Needle is Hungerford Bridge, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Bridge and part of Westminster Abbey.
