At a Court of Assistants of the Worshipful Company of Mercers, held at their Hall, on the 3rd day of May, 1886. His Royal Highness Prince Albert Victor of Wales, K.G. &c.&c. having been pleased to honour the Company by accepting the Freedom of theirAncient Guild, did attend their Hall, this day, and having subscribed the Declaration, was duly admitted to the same by the Master and Wardens, whereupon the Freedom of the Company was presented to His Royal Highness, in a Gold Box.
