Trade card of a hotel in Birmingham's Bull Ring. Formerly the Dog Inn, it was situated on the site of the Fish Market, completed 1869. In the Bull Ring Riots of July 1839 (part of the Chartist unrest) the windows of the hotel were all smashed and valuable mirrors and furniture completely destroyed
