A map charting the route of Robert McClure across Arctic America, on one of the expeditions in search of Sir John Franklin, but the first confirmation of a North-West Passage. This second edition has been updated to include the last search for Franklin, headed by Edward Belcher, who had previously compiled the first British survey of Hong Kong.
