A portrait supposedly of Thomas Fairfax, 3rd Baron Fairfax (1612 - 1671), wearing a fur-lined jacket and a feathered hat, published by Sebastian Savery. The original print by Caspar Merian has no title: Savery has engraved his name over Merian's, added the title and verse, raised the original cap to a hat with added feather, and engraved the word 'Misisi' on the paper in the sitter's hand. None of the features (including the prominent facial wart), costume, hair style resemble any Britsh portrait of the General.
