A trade card for a Quaker boarding school run by Jeremiah Holmes Wiffen (1792-1836), a poet and writer best known for his translation of Torquato Tasso. The school opened Leighton Road, Woburn, in 1811; in 1821 he was appointed librarian at Woburn Abbey.
