An impression of this print was purchased by Her Majesty Queen Mary at the Royal Academy of Arts in 1928. Nathaniel Sparks R.E. (1880-1956) won a scholarship to the Bristol College of Art and Science at the age of 10. His allegorical nudes and such subject matter are relatively rare today.
