Very fine mezzotint, 165 x 125mm (6½ x 5"), very large margins. Collector's stamp of Frederick Augustus II of Saxony.
A three-quarters length portrait of a ballad singer, holding the sheets out in front of her with both hands and others in her apron. Russell identifies her as Mrs Parker, a ballad singer from c.1700.
