Thomas Austen Brown (1856 - 1924), Edinburgh born landscape and genre painter, etcher and woodcut artist. Printed on leaf before title page; 'This Edition de Luxe consists of Seventy-Five Copies, of which this is No. 33 ['33' added in ink by artist, signed in ink underneath]. Illlustrations captioned below as follows: Battersea Bridge, The Church, Old Barges and Battersea Factories, Cheyne Walk, Chelsea Reach, Old Houses Cheyne Walk, The Electric Power Station, The West End of Cheyne Walk, Riley Street, and Albert Bridge by Night. Includes signed woodcut of the River Thames at Battersea.
